2017 KTM 1290 Super Duke R Special Edition | Motorcycle Buyer’s Guide
As if the standard KTM 1290 Super Duke R isn’t enough, there is now a Special Edition with a mixture of performance parts and bling from the KTM PowerParts catalog.
For performance, there is an Akrapović exhaust, two-piece seat, stiffer CNC-machines and triple clamps. Bling comes courtesy of anodized and carbon fiber bits, along with Galvano Orange paint and graphics that border on gold. Underneath it all is the big 1301cc V-twin that puts out a muscular 106 ft/lbs of torque, while running up to a peak of 173 horsepower.
