Serving as a flagship for the new Indian Scout lineup, the 2025 Indian 101 Scout offers the most power of any new Scout, an enhanced chassis, and the premium Limited +Tech Trim line. We explained the five-bike 2025 Indian Scout lineup earlier; check that story out for more details. So, until we can get on the road with the 101, let’s look at what this brand leader offers.

The 2025 Indian 101 Scout features a hot-rodded version of Indian’s new SpeedPlus 1250 motor. Although still a liquid-cooled 60-degree V-twin, it now features a larger bore to bump the displacement to 1250cc. While the other four 2025 Scouts have to make do with a 105 horsepower peak at 7250 rpm, the 101 Scout cranks out 111 horsepower at the same point in the rev range. The maximum torque output of 82 ft-lbs at 6300 rpm mirrors that of the rest of the 2025 Scout lineup.

Three ride modes—Sport, Standard, and Tour—are on tap, offering differing power delivery while retaining full power. Traction control and cruise control are standard.

Adjustable suspension allows the 2025 Indian 101 Scout owner to customize the ride. Indian hasn’t revealed exactly how adjustable the inverted 43mm fork is, but the piggyback-reservoir shocks are described as fully adjustable. To handle more power and upgraded handling, the 101 Scout gets more braking. Rather than a single disc in the front, the 101 Scout has a park of 320mm discs with radially mounted Brembo four-piston calipers. The rear disc is a 298mm unit with a single-piston caliper. ABS is standard.

Metzeler Cruisetec tires are mounted on five-spoke cast aluminum rims. A stylish 19-inch wheel leads the way, followed by a 16-inch wheel.

A bikini fairing breaks up the wind at speed. The fairing is color-matched to the bike and has a smoked windscreen. It surrounds an LED headlight.

There are well-appointed accommodations for the rider of the new 2025 Indian 101 Scout. The saddle is a solo design with custom stitching. The moto-bend handlebar is mounted on six-inch risers, with other heights available. The foot controls are forward-mounted to give the rider an attitude and legroom.

The round four-inch dash is a touchscreen design. Features include a choice of displays, GPS, turn-by-turn navigation, weather and traffic information, and connection to your smartphone via the Ride Command app. A powered USB port keeps your compatible devices charged up.

Indian offers four Collections for quick customizing for the 2025 Indian 101 Scout. Owners can choose between the touring-oriented Overnighter Collection, the long-distance comfort-focused Open Roads Collection, the practical Commuter Collection, and the stylish Stealth Collection. Dozens of accessories are available a la carte.

The 2025 Indian 101 Scout has two graphics-enhanced paint jobs—Sunset Red Metallic and Ghost White Metallic. The MSRP is $16,999, and you can see the 101 at your dealer next month.
